We're BONDS 5811, a Dayton-based and student-led community FIRST Robotics team!
Our mission is to bring STEAM opportunities to students in the local community through robotics. In our build season, students design, manufacture, and build a robot that will compete in a sports-like challenge against other national and international teams.
Why Should I Join?
BONDS is student driven. For everything from our robot to our offseason projects and missives, students decide what team they want to build. The know-how reach these goals is provided by our mentors, who are industry professionals in a variety of technical fields.
BONDS is hands-on learning. Students can learn and explore their passions in a number of different areas, including: mechanical, software, and electrical engineering, manufacturing, CAD, graphic design, business, marketing, and more!
BONDS is more than robots. From our annual overnight practice, to game and movie nights, our team brings students from all over the Dayton area together to make friends, work hard, and play harder.
